and i'm buying a phenom 6400+ black edition as soon as i have the money.. (it's 220ˆ atm....)

will be a nice spider platform (amd+ati), i ditched the idea of buying a hd3870 and aiming for a 8800gt with a dual slot cooler instead, delivers quite alot more then the 3870 really.

@ Singh, i have the exact same case minus the 250mm fan and the fan controller in the front, but i can tell you it Is a really good chassi, its actually really easy to work with, not to mention the good looks on it. and theres plenty of room for big gfx cards for example.

@Singh..I really like the case, altough i had to make the floppy device to fit the 5.25''. It's easy to use and mod. My system fits there perfect and there is alot of space for extra HDDs and coolers and other devices. The controller works well, all three fans are connected exept the cpu fan. I have to say, this case is perfect for me.:wink

lol, yea i havent used a floppy in years either, its just old and crap ;P

theres two external 3.5 bays for the chassi, on contains Front Audio, Microphone in, 2x usb2.0 and a Firewire port, and on My chassi the other bay just has a cover with the aerocool logo on, while the one with the 25cm fan has a 3x fan controller on there.

And not to mention the 140mm fan placed right in front of the drive bays, and a 120mm in the rear sucking the hot air out, its a good continous airflow solution.

copy pasted this time so there wont be those critical typos lmao btw i think i'm gona install and run 3Dmark now. i'll post my current score here. (without the new gpu, mobo and processor) then i'll post one with the new gpu and mobo. and after that with the phenom

can someone tell me the "default settings" that you have? i have the advanced edition so it doesn't have the same stuff as default.

edit:

well i just did the tests with 1024x768 resolution, no AA, optimal shading. and only the SM2.0, SM3.0 and CPU tests.

got 2553 marks lmao!!!

@ singh, that chassi ive seen before it looks fine, only some guy there wrote that if you have a tall aftermarket cpu cooler it will conflict with the 4 side mounted fans.. and he said it was flimsy, it looks alittle plastic on the pics but thats just the pics.

@ tommy, well thats a realtively low score but thats what to expect with your current system, the default is same as you did Exept 1280x1024 resolution, try that instead, that is the default setting.

yea ok so that's why it was 1280 x 720. my HDTV doesn't support the 1280x1024 resolution. it supports max 1360 width and 768 hieght

i'll be using the 1360 x 768 from now on. though it's almost 300 000 pixels less than 1280 x 1024...

PunkGuy :
3DMark 2006 Score
Win XP 32x
Score 12108
SM2.0 Score 4921
HDR\SM3.0 5230
CPU Score 3846

I got nearly the same shit as u, almost same monitor ( 22 inch samsung widescreen) zalman controller, same sound card exactly, and almost same other shit

sadly I hardly beat your score for my first try lol

THIS IS MY SCORE WITH NEARLY NO COOLING ON THE CASE, i only have 2 fans running right now, the rest are not plugged until I get my cables and controller ! so the temps are 70C on the video card and 60-65C on the cpu right now and my room is quite warm, so it really really really sucks for performance alot.

But the fans are coming and i'll let all the air outta this room for a good test..

RIght now my score stands as 13939 marks...

Thats not that amazing considering my cpu, gpu, ddr3, and 790i mobo

So I understand why its low, i just hope i'll make it better with better cooling, i dont want to overclock

everything in vista x64 SP1

One thing you have to know. Its batetr to instal soud card far away from vidio card (if you have the same zalman for vidio card) that temperature will be much lower. not anothe place for air taking
