i dont see anyone posting real 3dmark scores so ill be the first one old comp

Am I the only one that lags like a horse at the CPU test? 0-1 FPS:S Program failure though...

because 3d mark designs games that perfectly test the performance of games hard ware
some games are not good to test like SLR.... its coded poorly so its a bad test , and cod4 and all these other games, are not benchmark tests, they are just games to play this 3d mark games are real test for your pc's hardware I got new parts for my old pc today, 8400gs pci e, core 2 duo 1.6ghz , 2gb ddr2 667, and some mobo but it didnt come yet I'll probally test that in 3dmark 06, vs my current setup with agp etc |

ok i get it
well im going to use 3dmark 03 on same pc to see what i get out of it it looks more like for win xp 06 puts a hurt on my p4 2.8 Singh did you buy one of this puppy's PhysX Processing Card ASUS OR BFG its suppose to improve the games by like 5 to 10 percent more i think This post was edited by Locomanusa (2008-04-01 16:19 GMT, 279 days ago) |

just download 3dmark 06 and run it its setup to run like it is unless you want to change other settings |

Nah, not yet because they started to get popular but now they are not really, its more waste of money than performance.. they improve SOME games performance but only those talking about the physics card, I dont think that they will get popular yet... and I think they are too "young" in the market to be really effective |

well Guss what happen In February 2008, nVidia bought AGEIA and the PhysX engine and is integrating it into its CUDA framework, which already has multiple drivers for Linux.[3] With Intel's cancellation of Havoc FX, PhysX on CUDA is currently the only available solution for effect physics processing on a GPU

yea i've heard they been bought out, so thats kinda good i guess, but it also shows the market was very bad timing for physics cards I wouldnt buy one until they are better made and supported Here is my NEW ! 3dmark score, it was 13939 before with crappy cooling and underclocked cpu i wasnt aware of this is the proper clocks for my cpu now, only thing i overclocked was my fsb from 1333 to 1600 my ram was then 800mhz because of it  added through 4 hours 37 minutes
By the way nearly everyone gets 0-1 fps, with my 9650 overclocked im getting a few fps max was 4 fps added through 18 hours 54 minutes a bit different score, just higher timings on memory and higher voltage for stability  This post was edited by Singh (2008-04-04 23:40 GMT, 276 days ago) |
