alrite so im working on a nissan s15 3D model as the topic says, thought might get some more oppinions on renders. Still lots to do and still lots to learn about lighting and rendering, as well as modeling, takinginto account that i just recently learned how to spline model and im actualy using that technique untill the end. anyways heres some renders. The sunrise background was just an addition to make it more interesting, plane black was kind of boring, the background is actualy the HDRI im using for the reflections too.

heres the headlights close up, still need abit of work on the front but thats the general idea for it.

the not so detailed rims, ill add more detail their actualy the Enkei Evo 5 rims

I love the front of this car. The back I'm not really a fan of, but that's not your fault, just the way the car is. But I really like the struts you put on the front splitter. Very nice, very realistic. Has a strong feel to it already.

The headlights look amazing. I like the shiny floor too, even though that's not part of the model Before everybody else starts asking, is the car destined for any games?

nope its not a game model, just a 3D model, its already quite high poly count, as for teh renders id have to agree with PunkGuy, im not so good at them, im just starting to play around with rendering scenes, this is indeed a very simple one, it just has a couple of Omni lights and some realy basic HDRI reflections, so ye not the greatest but it works, and the renders are done in 2-3mins max, but ye ill play around with that more when im done

You know you played to much stalker when you trow a bolt in the direction of bedroom and recieving a pillow in your face from your wife. After that carefully pulling out your PDA and marking the anomaly spot on the map.

I'm guessing it'd be too high poly for almost any game in the next looong while. But it still looks amazing. You could possibly scale the poly count down a bit, although I know that doesn't usually work too well.

ye i doubt its gona work, cuz all the parts except the rear bumper so far, are done with turbo smooth on 2 iterations, as for the back bumper its a spline model, meaning its UBER high poly. and im planning on modeling the rest of the parts with splines as well
