A first gadget topic on GOM
 so, what phone/communicator you got? and in what way do you often use it? mine is a N95-1  i appear on MSN from this when my name is displayed as "[mobile] RAXAT". Since i spend more time outside i also track the websites from it, i may even edit some PHP scripts and upload them to FTP. The only one big minus of this phone is a weak battery, usually it drains in 6 hours, i have to carry a charger sometimes to keep it switched on. |

i got the motorola razr v3m red edition in which i mainly use to call and text with, nothin else, except i have used the gps app a few times.

 a roflmao nokia 6610, features color display wich not many phones did at the time this was new, lol.. its good for sms:es and calling, nothing else. |

 Thats the one i got. Nokia N73. I use it to surf the net, sms stuff, photographing, playing games, Mp3 music, gps, CALCULATOR, calendar and many other things. I guess the battery is allright. I charge it like 1 time a week ;p |

Hey, whatΒ΄s happenin GOM, glad you back. So this is my mobile phone, a SAMSUNG E 370, aint really somethin but I only use it to call and SMS people so it does the job...

I've got a piece of crap nokia 3220.
We call it "the pocket disco" in finland cos of the grips that glow/blink in three different colours. (red, green and orange)   |

Yes, and the phone itself is really not heavy, ive heard that it is one of the better camphones around(dunno if its true)

 Run of the mill Verizon RAZR V3m, except for one thing. If anybody has/had a Verizon phone recently, you'll know that the red bar UI is horrendous. So, I took the original Motorola firmware from VIVO in Brazil and flashed it. It's absolutely wonderful: Skinnable, very fast, more than 15 second video recording, full Bluetooth (including OBEX), a GOOD MP3 player (not VCAST, which is crap), USB drive mode, and much more. I also have a free WAP proxy set up, so I can visit any site on the internet using my regular plan minutes. My only problems with it are getting really cold in the winter (aluminum body) as well as a crappy battery life. By the way, if anybody out there has this phone, I highly recommend flashing it. Links: LINK LINK Not to mention on top of all this, it was a free phone + 1GB microSD card, making it a really nice cheap MP3 player. |

Nice Singh, looks like you'll be getting a good upgrade there.
I don't have a phone actually, because I spend every waking moment I can in my basement, on my PC. Sometimes I spend my sleeping moments on the PC too, but only on accident, after I've been spending too many very late waking moments. |

ya its gona be a good upgrade by far ! the 7100i was awesome tho cuz it worked for what i needed, gmail application built for blackberry on the go worked awesome even had gtalk app too, used 3rd party stuff for aim but it kept signing out for lackof service in some areas that pissed me off lol
and FnF i saw some modded iphones with 16gb hdd's, thats awesome ! the phone i will get can be flashed to have iphone OS ! |

ya katana looks good, but i like the new razor V9m my brother just got it, its very badass with a HUGE exterior touch lcd as well as nice screen inside
