Santa Singh :
for its time the jeep was great, but as time goes on so the demand for better mods because modders become more advanced, its like video games, many great video games come out and for the time they are released they are awesome but as time goes on they get passed by better games, but it doesnt make them any less great.

I don't know, the JEEP was still one of a kind eliteness. Especially after the collision meshes got fixed, so you didn't hook on random things with invisible parts any more.

Heh, i knew i would get my ass kicked, but thanks for the feedback david
i wasnt saying your work is bad, i just spoke about a dream of some sort.
yes, i have seen a real laguna, i have even driven it. and yes, your car looks darn good. a guy i know works for a renault dealership for about 10 years now, and he couldnt find any major mistakes
the thing is, i just like messing around with the interior work, and an interchangeble interior would be really, really cool.
i know it is a bit much to talk about gearknobs etc etc. but wouldnt that be cool?
and in the catalogue, the interior section looks pretty sad beacause it is so blody empty.
but as i read, you are making a difference.
it is really nice that you are making such a huge job, beacause i am getting tired of the stock mods for slrr ( i mean a model that has only a bode and nothing else with it)
and please dont say that instead of complaining i should do things myself. i do, but i still cant model properly and i am struggling to learn the basics of script editing.
thanks for the attention, and i am keeping my fingers crossed to see this finished
any new pictures? (A)

OT: about the jeep.
it still rocks ass, i finally got my hands on that thing, and boy, am i excited
that thing has pretty much everything

@ Sly:

I will do my best, better yet, WE (DC Team) will do our best to make the SLRR players happy
Yeah, the list of to-do stuff is very long, but hey; goods mods take time.
Don't get me wrong: I'm not dissing you or anything; modding isnt easy!
The modeling is kinda easy, but the scripting is:
Personally, I don't like scripting all that much

I have to agree with the statements about the JEEP:
it really is KICKA**, and I respect the work a LOT!
It too is one of my favourites, maybe, just maybe..... when all my projects are done, I can do my best and do some work for it:wink
Just lemme know Singh

As it stands now, I have no pics, because of major website overhauling on DC:wink
I hope that will be over this weekend, so I can show new updates

Sly, I pay attention to the needs/ wishes from the community, after all: YOU are gonna be playing with it
As soon as I have a PROPER beta version, you can expect a pm with a link to it, so you can beta test it:wink

yay
thanks for the honour, im glad.
well, i like the way you think, that is, that you think about other users also. because there is a number of chaps who make quality mods and then keep them to theirselves and im not only talking about slrr it works in real life also.
Btw, as only an idea, if you are going to do a racing version, then in the interior can there be all those little cool details like fire extinguisher, racing gear knobs etc...
darn, this is making me want to learn modeling even more

Hey guys!

I really HATE to do this, but I am waaay to lazy to script atm

I have seperated the hatholder, updated the carpet texture (beige didn't seem right) and I have added Hard's Radio.
I have seperated the radiocover, and added a navigation screen, because the space felt empty.
For the ones who have seen my Avensis project: NO, it's not the same; I made this navthingy myself, only used the same texture

Here are the 2 renders:

Interesting...Robban, I've never seen that car before. Although I'd have to agree with Ivan, that's not the same car. It's still a pretty fun and unusual model for SLRR, you don't see a lot of cars that old in racing games.

OK: I have an update
BUT: somewhere I managed to make a script error with the navigation texture.....
so: just a blanc nav for now...

The hatholder is detacheable and has a flap, subwoofer is in place, just as the NOS bottles.
The radiocover does not have a flap; I dont see the use of that.
But we have navigation, radio and at Xion Drifters request: extra gauges.

here are the pics:

Very nice! Unfortunately those green reflections kind of ruin it for me, especially the interior. Perhaps the seats and things shouldn't be as reflective.

Yeah! no more green glow! lol, I just can't stand that for some reason. It's like SciFi or something, but without any of the cool bits. Awesome body kit though. It thoroughly kicked my ass, so I bowed down and got the tissues.
