Okidoki
I can't remember who suggested that the team at DC should get some teamprojects going, but I'm glad that we're well under way with our project!
So far, Breden, SToRm, Roland, Hard and myself have been working on it.
I know: in the past I showed max screens, cuz I dind't know loading order for example...
But: thanks to my team, I have overcome that!
And: I have even been able to make a rear windshield with heating wires in it
Oh yeah: the opening petrolcap was fun to do as well:wink
Anyways: you will see all the progress pics in a sec, and the progress is about 70% I think.
Most of the scripting is done---->ya, by me!
BUT: Roland has saved me more than once!
He and maXX3n have helped a LOT with the scripting!
Since Breden has a busy time with school etc, and SToRm's amazing-outclassingeverything-kicka**-mega-PHAT-super-duper-AWESOME bodykit isn't done, I have decided to make even more things detacheable and such
So: here are the pics; better get some tissues ready!!!

Woah that is a serious load of pics going on. But looking at them this car seems to have just about everything sorted out. Well done to the team so far.

Yeah! I miss you and your plethora of screen shots. Used to bring me so much agony when I was on dialup, now it's just pure joy looking at that professional quality stuff. You got good players on your team there with Storm and Hard, they make some fine stuff. Can't wait to see where this goes!

Nice engine details there Breden! I love the engines that have all the little fiddly bits like the wires and whatnot.

what i would just love, is some interior work, like the MB 190E that is on ger-tech

but other than that, this rocks!

I think the focus here is the engine. The car is very neat-o too, especially the paintjob and decals, but yeah the interior could use a little TLC. The MB 190E is just ridiculous though, loads of work went into that thing.

yeh, I can see that
but...
(sorry if i am a bit cocky)
... its a blody team! and david said he is making stuff detachable. so why not take the time and make it perfect just like the few cars that are really worth mentioning, like the Jeep that Singh and FNF made and Singhs Viper, and that MB190 mentioned earlier.
the engine is sure something i have dreamed of, as far i can see on the pictures, but why cant the whole model be like that?

the whole model IS like that
Converting a GTA car into SLRR is no big deal; the big issue we are facing as a team, is to make this car unique.

Just to sum up what's left to come:
the hat holder will be detacheable, and I will add a flap to it, so ppl can see all of the subwoofer that Hard made.
he has also made a radio, that means I have to rip apart the center console, to have an extra slot for the radio.
In real life, the Laguna has a radio cover that "flaps"open to reveal the radio: guess what I'm getting done here...
Also, I have to script in the monochrome taillights, the parts are made, but not yet scripted.
Another thing I'm thinking of doing is a detacheable sunroof---> ya, it will have a flap too, so it can open
The RAGE mirrors are in progress.

BTW: have u ever seen a Laguna from the inside in real life?
I'm working as a carpainter, and I'm a panelbeater/ mechanic as well, so that means that I know what cars look like UNDERNEITH the body panels etc.
I have replaced a few dashboards for Laguna's and I must say that the interior looks as good as the real life thing!
I have played a bit with the textures, but more will be done soon.

The things that have been done, are pretty darn good so far!
The phys is almost done, but it drifts like a mofo atm, and the damage is also very good.

Besides Sly, have u really taken a GOOD look at the pics???
How many cars in slrr have u seen that have rear windshields with heating wires???
That rear windshield is a 4 layer thing!
And: when did u open up a petroltank cap for the last time you played slrr?

Thing is, I see no use of a detacheable dashboard, or doorpanels.
I mean: why should i make seperate dials for the dash, when I can have aftermarket add on dials?
Why sould I have detacheable doorpanels when I'm gonna have racing doors without interior padding?
Isn't a rollcage enough?
Hard has made an intercooler as well for it, but I guess that's also not worth mentioning...
And ya: who needs strutbars anyway

The more I'm working on the car, the more parts add to the list.
Anyways, the car's not coming out until Februari 2008 or maybe even later...
So just wait and sit tight...

I have been beta testing the 230LE Jeep, but that was never finished, and the MB190 always crashed when I tried to buy the stock rims, or when I installed the Meisel engine
I dunno about the Viper; I don't like the real viper, so that's the reason why I never borthered to download it...

So with the detachable sunroof, would that be able to fall off separately when you crash? Reminds me of something Ashes48 was doing a long time ago, where he fractured the roof model so that it could split apart in the middle.

the opening gas cap door is wat i wanted to do with the jeep but the chassis got re exported with the cap at once and i didnt want to ask fnf for the max files over again so i just left it, im glad you did it tho.

The exhaust coming out the turbos looks killer !

the interir is badass I like the speaker upgrade options !

the mesh its self is crazy nice

im just saying all this now cuz i finally got to see the pics since i fixed the scroll bar thing

added through 1 minute

for its time the jeep was great, but as time goes on so the demand for better mods because modders become more advanced, its like video games, many great video games come out and for the time they are released they are awesome but as time goes on they get passed by better games, but it doesnt make them any less great.
